Our toddler training seat attaches directly to your existing toilet seat lid using a two-part magnetic system. When your little one needs to go, pull it down — it lowers gently and quietly every time thanks to the soft-close hinge. When an adult needs the bathroom, swing it back up and it snaps magnetically to the lid, completely out of the way.

Option A — Replace your existing toilet seat

Step 1 — Remove your current toilet seat

Unscrew and remove your existing toilet seat.

Step 2 — Attach the mounting hardware

Place the mounting discs over the hinge holes, insert the screws through the mounting grips and down through the toilet bowl holes.

Step 3 — Attach the PottyPal seat

Slide the hinged part of the seat over the pins and lower it into position on your toilet bowl.

Step 4 — Tighten and finish

Tighten the screws with a screwdriver while holding the nuts underneath. Slide the mounting covers over the discs for a clean finish.

Option B — Clip onto your existing toilet seat (no tools needed)

Step 1

Stick the included adhesive magnet to the back of your toilet lid.

Step 2

Clip PottyPal onto your existing toilet seat.

Step 3

Swing it up — the magnets connect and hold it flat against the lid.

Step 4

When your toddler needs to go, pull it down — the soft-close hinge lowers it gently into place.

Both options take less than 10 minutes. Option B requires zero tools.

Will this fit my toilet?

• PottyPal fits most standard round and elongated toilet bowls sold in the US. To find your size, measure the length of your toilet bowl from the hinge bolts at the back to the front edge.

Elongated — 18.5 inches (the most common size in US homes)

Round — 16.5 inches (common in older homes and smaller bathrooms)

Not sure which size you have? Go with Elongated. It fits the majority of US toilets.

Do I need to replace my existing toilet seat?

• Nope. PottyPal clips directly onto your existing seat. No replacements, no tools, no plumbing.

How strong is the magnet?

• Strong enough to hold the seat firmly against the lid during normal bathroom use, but easy enough for a toddler to pull down independently — which is kind of the whole point.

Is it easy for my toddler to use on their own?

• Yes — that's exactly how it was designed. The pull-down motion is simple enough for toddlers as young as 18 months to manage with minimal help, building confidence and independence.

How do I clean it?

• Just wipe it down with your regular bathroom cleaner. The smooth surface has no hard-to-reach grooves or foam that absorbs bacteria.
